it works no problem, had it for 9 month. Although in my 2007 i seem to have buggy bluetooth module where sometimes it looses connection. Not related to 5800 though

With latest 5800 firmware v30 I am no longer able to voice dial calls. I can still dial from the phone itself. I tested this on another Nokia, thinking I have a faulty bluetooth controler, but it worked fine with Nokia 5310. So, it appears to be an issue with 5800 firmware.

You probably already tried this, but...

Delete the Outlander from the phone, and the phone from the Outlander. Then re-pair.

Same problem with E75 phone. Making voice calls does not work, incoming calls work fine.

What year is your Outlander? Did you bring this up with the dealer?

XLS 2009. I was planning to mention it to the dealer next time I come for the oil change. However, I strongly suspect this is a problem with the handset software, not the software in the audio system. I have tried other phones with the same car, they work just fine. And other people complain about identical issues with E75 phone and other cars (BMW, Toyota...).

ok, so switching to 2009 bluetooth model is out of question, need to actually switch a phone. I know it worked fine until I upgraded to either v20 or v30 firmware. I don't use it that often, but when I do this gets really annoying not being able to dial. In any case, I think it's about time to upgrade my phone anyway... Btw, I will test it Sentra bluetooth and let you know

Default Nokia 5800 - Bluetooth works with f/w 50.0.005

Hi,

I also had the problem that voice dialing was not working anymore. I've upgraded to f/w 50.0.005 yesterday en everything works again. Always have been a Nokia problem.

Regards,
Hans
