OBC2 code P2408

Hi all,
OBC2 code P2408 tells me that there is a fault on the fuel cap sensor circuit. Now search as a I have I have not found any information on what this item actually does and is it important.
Can anyone help me out...

just googling the fault, I found this: Code No. P2408: Additive Tank Cork Fault
Looking through the service manual, page 70-13 shows the location of the "Fuel tank differential pressure sensor", which would be the closest sensor I could come up to fuel cap sensor. If you didn't have a fuel cap, then you'd tell that by measuring fuel tank pressure. that sensor sits on top of the fuel pump, accessible by an access panel under the carpet. if you want to diagnose this sensor yourself, get to the sensor and remove pin1 from the connector. turn the ignition to the ON position and measure the voltage to ground. acceptable voltages are between 2 - 3 volts.
if this is under warranty, take it in if you can.
