obd2 and iphone

hi can anyone give me any info on the obd 2 that connects to my 08 outlander diesel,[and where to find it on car ] so i can use my iphone 6 plus many thanks

In my 2007 Outlander XLS (left hand drive), the ODB2 port was actually on the left of the steering wheel, and to get to it, I had to pull out a cupholder.
