I am just wondering how difficult/easy to install the OEM xenon light control units / HID ballasts with igniters to a NON-HID equipped 2010+ Outlander, and most importantly to mod to work like an OEM HID headlights, i.e. with DRL on, low bean, and high bean??
Is it possible? Has anyone done this before?
I knew some uses aftermarket kit, and need to bypass or have to deal with the DRL issue....
Thanks a lot

HID headlights need lenses, you need the entire headlight assembly for HID retrofit.
Once you get those, it is mostly plug and play.
However, some settings in ETACS need to be changed for proper work of HIDs.

Thanks Vadimus. Do you mean the whole headlight assembly? Does all the after market kit like the picture above, and just need to swap the regular bolt with the HID bolt with the ballast and igniter? Sorry, I am just confused.

u need projector lenses, its a hold new headlight unit, or you can buy a retrofit kit for around $300.
