oil leak between engine and transmission
#11
Dealer told me they think it is assembly oil from the factory that is now seeping out a bit. He said the tech has actually seen this before. The tech opened the inspection plate and found the inside to be dry.
They cleaned it and told me to check back with them if it is still leaking.
I did 2 100 mile trips and didn't notice any new oil in the area so far.
I hope they are right because I don't want them to be taking the transmission out of the car, alot of stuff to remove including interior, disconnect driveshaft, cross members etc.
But I definitely started a paper trail incase I need help on this issue later.
