Default OMG! 07 Horn is a joke!

After owning the car for about 2 weeks this was first time I needed to use horn and what a disappointment it was. I was embarrsed after using it because the sound it made was "tiny". Any replacement suggestions?

I guess my question if anyone done that and how easy it is to replace. Any particular model to get?

The DB level is high, just about deafening if your near it. It could use some meat though, but all/most Japanese horns at that way.

I know many people that have done it with other cars. Its as simple as just connecting a couple wires... very simple. You can find it some place around the radiator.. should be.

I will try again, but I barely heard the Horn when I was making a turn at 20 mph... and yes I have a good hearing.

I agree. It's pretty whimpy. I liked the horn on my 03 Golf. For a small car it had a good, deep "get the hell out of my way" sound to it. I'll probably replace mine with one of those at some point.

Stand in front and have someone honk it, or pull it in the garage and let one off with both front windows down.
Im not defending the horn, I think it needs to be a different note they are available but I would check around to see if anyone prefers one over the other I know on motorcycle forums there are favorites.
Maybe one of the other forums has info on them try searching outside of the outlander section here.

It may be a PITA to get to, thats something to think about before getting too excited.
