Default Outlande JDM VS US Model?

Is there a difference between outlander models imported in the US (NYC specifically) and JDMs mainly suspension wise?

I want to see if a suspension kit (TIEN) will fit for our outlanders here.

I believe the suspension is the same but I think the ones with the 7 passenger seating have a "beefed up" rear suspension. That is that the springs or shocks are different that the base model. I do not know it that would affect the Tein kit.

I don't know, but I'm going to guess there is no difference for the addition of the 3rd row seat option. Looking at part stores, they do not differentiate.

as far as a difference between JP and NA models, I doubt there would be a difference there either. I know there are different engines globally used in the Outlander platform, but that should not matter for the rear. Mass is mass no matter where you are on the globe, why change it. Just my thoughts.
