Default Outlander 2006 MMCS J-01. How do I connect AUX?

Hi. How do I make a connection into the back of my MMCS J-01 2006 Outlander for an Android Smartphone? There is no AUX socket so I'm wanting to splice cable directly into back of MMCS.

My MMCS has working Reversing Camera, TV and before conversion from Japanese to English had Japanese Navigation Maps (which are no good to me in New Zealand). My 2006 Outlander was imported into New Zealand in 2015.

I’ve tried lots of things. Here’s what I have found out/my progress.
• There are no RCA connectors anywhere in the car
• LCD gives no AUX icon, but mode button on the steering wheel does allow me to cycle into an AUX screen that gives TV signals and if I press the arrow buttons appears to go through TV channels. (We get no analog TV locally so no signals)
• Holding the CD icon brings no additional menu
• There is a 6 pin connector hidden within centre console. 5 wires are connected. I failed to trace where these go using wire colours and a multi-meter. I tried continuity tests between this 6 pin connector and various connectors under the drivers seat and at the back of the MMCS without luck. I did a visual trace and found the wiring loom from this 6 pin connectors ends up somewhere inside the dash board to the left of the MMCS. I found no spare connector that carried the same colours as the 6 pin connector and neither did I find continuity using a multi meter.
• I’ve tried feeding a signal from the earphone socket of my transistor radio into various pins of the 6 pin connector in the centre console and also on the back of the MMCS without success.
• Apart from the amp under the drivers seat, there is no unit under the passenger seat or under the carpet on the passenger side.

Attached is a PDF with various photos and further explanations.
I'd love your help.
Thanks

Hi. I have successfully resolved this issue by splicing into the wires on large 32 pin connector (P703 / C07) on the back of the MMCS as follows, and then running an audio cable to a 3.5mm inline stereo socket.

1. Ground pin 24 to get AUX ICON onto display (green & gold)
2. Splice into pin 25 for left audio (red, white & gold)
3. Splice into pin 26 for left audio shield (black, pink, gold)
4. Splice into pin 9 for right audio (blue, white, gold)
5. Splice into pin 8 for right audio shield (black, yellow)

I hope this helps you.

Hi there I have the exact same setup. Are you able to please add photos of completed splicing and 3.5 cable I should buy. (sorry haven't done much audio or splicing work in the past so a bit of a newb)
Also keen to know what method you used for Language conversion?
Thanks

Hey I'm also in the exact same situation. Also in NZ with a Japanese Import 2006 Outlander.
Further info on this would be a great help!
