outlander 2008 steering wheel buttons

hello guys i just bought a outlander 2008 limited
and the buttons on the steering wheel are not working
no vol +/- - MODE / cruise control,,,
no one of them are working
what should be the problem ?

Most likely a bad clockspring behind the airbag/steering wheel.

If al of them are not working then it likely the cable or contact problem.
If you have non-OEM stereo then there might an option to re-learn steering buttons resistances, try that in this case.
