Default Outlander in 2012: XLS becomes GT, GT becomes GT-S

It looks like the trim levels themselves are the exact same but they've been renamed.

The end result is that a 2011 GT is AWD, while a 2012 is not.

I wonder if the 2012 GT will get the same body treatments that the '11 did, or if that will be reserved for the GT-S.

Which body treatments? I don't recall the GT having anything unique?

I thought the GT also had extra things painted and the side trim in chrome, with some chrome trim on the front bumper. I know our XLS doesn't have chrome side trim. Maybe that was changed with the body style?

Instead of XLS and GT, there are now 2 versions of the GT; 2WD and S-AWC. There isn't a GT-S; Both drivetrain versions are grouped under the GT trim.
