I thought it was only cheating in Japan? So are we in the US going to get money?

Doubt it. This isn't like the VW emissions scandal.....or the most recent GM class action lawsuit for fuel economy ratings on their crossover vehicles.

I am definitely getting worse, but like I said in another post, my driving conditions are not ideal for fuel economy. Regularly multiple people in the car, city driving, lots of hills. I have a V6, but still get pretty bad mileage according to the V6 AWD ratings. I was hoping for a pleasant surprise, but in reality expected this.

I get the claimed mileage in my 2009 here in the U.S., that's with the V6.

But i'm pretty sure this article is only for Japan which has lenient and virtually unattainable fuel economy ratings for nearly every vehicle.

Mine is backwards.

29 - 32 mpg city, 28 mpg hwy driving easy (60 mph.) 25-26 driving 70-75 mph. No idea why. 2013 SE, 2.4L DOHC CVT. (Personal best was 37 mpg at a constant of 50 mph highway as a test.) The dealer told me that the actual estimated milage is based on 60 mph hwy conditions - which makes sense given my numbers.

A lot better than my previous 4x4, though, so I can't complain.
