My 2007 Outlander is scheduled to have the front subframe replaced due to rust. I've seen many refer to the recalled part as being the crossmember. However, when I view a replacement crossmember in the parts schematic, it does not show the subframe; rather it shows a $147 part.

Technically, which was the recall for; front subframe or front crossmember?

Rather than wait for the garage to call and say other parts will be needed, what other parts should I order prior to my scheduled appointment for replacement? They mentioned possibly "links". Which links might they be referring to?
