Hancook Optimos

So I have about 700 miles in these tires. I think I like them. After a week I checked the lugs and pressure. The pressures were all over the place. 29.5 to 36.5. I adjusted them all to 32. The ride felt a little squishy. I have settled at 34psi and it feels great. I think I will keep them. If I get close to 100,000 miles I will be a happy camper. I give the Hancooks two thumbs up.
Be safe out there.

Yokohama YK580's

Just an update to the thread......

About a month ago, I replaced the OEM Goodyears with a set of Yokohama YK580's in 225/55/18 size.

My Outlander drives like it did when it was new, but the ride is even smoother and quieter than with the stock tires. In addition traction is better in both dry and wet road conditions and the handling is much improved over the old tires.

These are only available at Discount Tire from what I understand and @ less than $150 each, with a 60,000 mile treadlife warranty, I can say that I am pleased with my purchase.

On my old Murano I replaced the OE Goodyears with Yokohama AVID ENVigors (Ultra High Performance All-Season tires). They were excellent tires -- good wet/dry traction, 'V' speed rating (149mph), and predictable handling. Above all, they were the quietest tires I've ever had.
