Default New Outlander owner

Just got our first new car a few weeks ago and already read through the thread lol There are some very nice Outlanders here! I'm jealous of the 2012 model owners since I like the more rugged look, but the wife likes the new and classy look, so that's where we went. No regrets though as we really like the car. I also want to add a few things like skuff plates, the "OUTLANDER" emblem on the front grill, and a roof rack. I'll make sure I post the upgraded pics here, but for now this is all I have. Thanks!

Don't be too jealous. The old ones are much less refined. Cabin noise is especially noticeable in the older models -- 2013 and older.

Must agree with you about the 2012 model. We had one of those and now have the 2014 model which lacks the aggressive look. There was a lot about the previous model we preferred.

But congratulations on getting a brilliant car.

I just came back from having my tail light wrapped. I'm very pleased with the results. I have a 2010 Outlander GT and always felt that the design of the tail lights would age poorly. I feel that the shape of the tail lights is fine, but the details within were too busy. All the little holes for each led were a bit of design overkill IMO. Wrapping them helps blend them with the rear glass and makes for a much more clean looking back end.

That looks nice, but I've always thought that blacking out your taillights presents a safety issue, in that your brake lights are not as easily seen by the person behind you, especially during the day.
