I'm very interested in going for it.....please let me know if anybody takes the dive first!

When I contacted RIPP mods, they told me that if I installed this supercharger, I would be the second person to do it for the outlander. I would have liked to know who that first guy was but RIPP said that they no longer had his contact information.

what about the 4g69's? Is this only for pre 2004 Outlanders or for Mivec's also. I don't know Mitsubishi engines well yet, I just know what mine is and what I wish it was.

its available for the mivec engine as well. the one in my first post is for the 4G64 2.4L SOHC. Like I said, RIPP also has the system made for the 2.4 Mivec engine..... see pics below.... enjoy!

Now that's sweet! Why does the crankcase have to vent into the air filter though?

im guessing that its the point where the most vaccuum is created. This way, when the supercharger winds up and starts spinning, it actually pulls air in from the crankcase and releives the increase in pressure in the crankcase. They could have also positioned it anywhere else on the intake tract, except they probably wouldnt get as much vaccuum effect.

I forgot that the crankcase vents into the intake to begin with. It's been a long couple weeks, brain is fried.[sm=headbang.gif]
