What oil/filter are you using? I own a 2008 Outlander V6 that I am using AMSOIL OIL/FILTER and get 18-20 city and 27 highway. Make sure your air filter is clean as well as check your tire pressure weekly.

Is your engine 2.4 cvt as well sir? Also, what's your fuel consumption? Mine is the same with rapaz with the same poor fuel mileage, mine is 2009 model though. Thanks.

My 2009 outlander 4 cylinder AWD gives awful mileage as well. After a full gas tank, I would get a refuel sign after about 350 kms. I checked this morning and my mileage was 18 km/litre! It's mostly highway driving 70%! I'm also contemplating getting another vehicle to replace this one.
Which one did you buy to replace it?

For those of you with petrol versions, do they not sell the diesel models in your countries?

Gotta agree with the rest..there is something wrong with your car...thats just tooo low...Ive only had my 15 outlander for 2 months..and im averaging around 10 litres per 100km..Im a moderate driver...that is with winter tires as well as the cold temps we had here in January and February..I expect it to be better during the summer months...I do drive mosly highway and commute about 130 km per day. I would take it to the dealer and get it straightened out.
