My RES play DVD Video, DVD Audio, Music CD/CD TEXT/MP3/WMA, Video CD (in disc cd-r/rw) and the auxiliary input path RCA conector. DVD is Region 1. All formats tested for me and its run correctly. . .

 

Just got my 2008 Outie in South Africa - RF Premium system at the front and the factory fitted DVD.

What's great is that the remote RCA will input my iPod direct to the front head unit if the DVD is off. When it's on, control moves to the rear seats - but if you select Video, the DVD unit can also read the iPod (audio and video)

If the rear unit is selected to "Video" and a video ipod is connected to the external RCA, you can watch iPod vides on the machine.
