Default Part Number for Transmission on Outlander Sport 2015?

Hi,

I want to find a used transmission for an 2015 Outlader Sport SE FWD but how can I know which other transmissions fit? Would a 2014 or 2016 fit? I have a VIN number: 4A4AP3AU9FE002000 if that helps?

Can someone help me, please. I want to buy a used transmission but be certain it will fit.

I have a couple of candidates donors but need to know that.. or if someone knows which year transmisions might fit? Do all 3rd generation outlander have the same transmission?

Thank you in advance!

car-parts.com will let you search for used transmissions. not sure about what years had what transmissions.

really curious, why are you looking to change out transmissions on a 2015??

My father bought the car at an auction. It was involved in an accident. The transmission has a hole in it... I think is best to just replace it. I don't think reconstruction is an option since we would need the enclosing. Otherwise the car is in good shape...the rack&pinion was also damaged but I found that part as well... I think in the accident the car hit something in the road.....

About the transmission, I already found a 2014 transmission but I don't want to pull it without knowing it will fit. That's why I would like to know the part number so I can compare them... or some expert to tell me they use the same parts in those years.. either 2014 or 2016. Mine is 2015

wow, hell of a hit then.

honestly, not sure many people would be able to help with something like that. My only suggestion would be to call up a dealership service department...doesn't have to be local...and ask them. Giving some general numbers might help.

For example, in 2007, there was only one engine with an option for 2WD or 4WD. 2WD was F6AJA and 4WD was W6AJA.

Checking in... Did you end up putting in a used transmission? If so did it work ok after replacing it?
