Default Performance Chip 07 LS

What do you thing of this?

http://cgi.ebay.com/PERFORMANCE-CHIP...QQcmdZViewItem

Performance chip boost 35+ HP. Is this a waste of my money. I am sure it doesn't boost 35+ but I thought it might help a little bit.

Yes? No? Maybe?

The fact that it say "2003 - 2007 models" says it all.We all know that our car has changed alot fromthe previous one, also, you will never find horse power this cheap.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS

That's exactly what I was thinking. I feel the same way. Just thought I might ask everyone.

Thanks

I'd have to agree as well. "One size fits all years" sounds pretty sketchy to me. 35 hp sounds like a crock as well.I don't think the factory woulddesign the oem computer that inefficient. You'd be better off, after break-in , to switch over to synthetic lubricants and maybe a k&n style air filter. There are legitimate dyno tests on performance cars(V-8's) that gained up to 8 hp when all lubricants, engine, trans, rear-end/transaxle, were switched to true synthetic oils such as royal purple etc.

I would wait until a more reputable company comes out with a chip that is tested in mainstream media and or tuners here on the internet.

Just my .02
