Yes the phone will have a volume control for bluetooth, and during a call you can increase the volume on the stereo.

The mic should be right above you like others have said. Where the map lights and/or sun roof button is.

During a call the opposite side tweater should be the only speaker producing sound from the call. So for LHD its the right side, for RHD its the left.

Interesting on the volume thing. I'm going to have to try this out since every time I disconnect from a call, my speakers do the disconnect sound at an incredibly high pitch!

Yeah I used to hate that, until I found out about the bluetooth output volume on my phone.

The loud "incoming call" sound is a little scaring when you drive in the dark... alone on the road and no music playing..... Believe me ;-)
No way to fell asleep anymore !

Just to share...

Had no problem pairing my Droid to my 2011 USA model. I can control phone volume with the radio volume and it's in stereo.

Comming from a guy that's half deaf, I'd rather use the phone in the car than any other. It works excellently with hearing aids.
