Default Ready to buy blue tooth phone - does the Razr work?

Motorola RAZR V3 Black Phone from amazon. I have a GC to amazon thus looking at this phone as it is the right price and really I just use the phone as a phone and not an MP3 player, camera etc. so I am not looking for something that is massively rice in features - want the blue tooth, have a GC and while this is more than GC value it would cover a good chunck of it.

Of course I hate to buy it and have it NOT work in the vehicle. Just curious if anyone else is using this phone with a Mitsu vehicle. Maybe you hate the phone too and could chime in on that.

Using the exact same phone in my Outtie. Don't mean to hijack your thread, but does the iphone work? I'm looking to get one of those.

It technically should work. The phone does have bluetooth and thats all that is needed for it to work. You have to go into Settings - Connection - Bluetooth - Handsfree. No reason why it shouldnt work.

I have heard some vehicles, specifically Toyotas, have issues with blue tooth and you better get a phone on their "suggested" list or don't bother. Did not know if the blue tooth in the Outlander was that picky or not. Sounds like it might not be all that picky and this phone would be a good option unless someone pipes in and states "on my third version of the phone, breaks when I sneeze"

The iPhone and the RAZR are both extremely common phones. I don't see Mitsu not making their system compatable with it.

Mitsu has a "phone compatibility list" for BT too.

Just get the Razr. It is a good phone and works with the bluetooth. The only problem with the razr is that it is a couple of years old now, so features MAY be lacking (maybe some carriers are better than others but mine is lacking), and that it is TOO popular. Also check on ebay for some phones, their prices are pretty good, just be sure to read the feedback and be careful with what you are buying.

Had a RAZR worked fine. Most fragile phone ever though, and I hated everything about it except for the thinness. Now have an iPhone and works with the Outie as well. Love it BTW.
