Default Picking up new 2012 GT on Monday

Didn't like how the 2.4 strained a bit on hills pulling my fishing boat(-weight was within specs) 1100 lbs total

Local Mitsu dealer just bought the franchise from the Honda dealer, and hasn't done much advertising or selling.

I got a 2012 Diamond White Pearl Gt for my price-well I went $126.00 over what I wanted to spend.

It has sun roof, touring package, back up camera, leather seats, towing package, but is missing the bluetooth module. Part of the purchase agreement is the buying the module for the dealer's cost. I'm guessing about $200.00. It should be about a 1/2 hr job, and looks to be much simpler than putting in the car stereos that I did when I was much younger.

Picking up Monday night-will keep you guys posted.

Congrats with the purchase.. the BT you will need the dealer to program it, the module for the 2012 is about $300 but maybe you are getting at cost for $200.

I would try to ask the dealer to install as part of closing the deal.

Also I think when you add the USB port than you get the FUSE system.

Might have the usb port allready. That was not one of the optioons that I was looking for, but I have it on the 2011 and it comes in handy for charging the cell phone.

I am pretty sure there is no USB port on that car.. I don't know why but it seems to require the BT module

Why would the dealer need to program it? I thought it was plug-and-play?

The youtube video on a 2008 (looked exactly like a 2011 or 2012 took about 20min. Remove the 2 vents, remove radio (2 screws) remove cd changer(4 screws) plug in module and 2 screws to hold it in and then reassemble.

It is pre-wired for the module.

I'll keep you posted. Picking it up Monday night.

The youtube video I watched says you need to program it at the dealer after you add the module.. but I'm sure your dealer should be able to do it for free before you fill your survey..

that's what I get for not listening to the audio.

Good idea about requesting a n/c activation before the survey. Kinda fits whith how I "negotiated" the price.

Decided what I wanted to pay-what I thought fair. When you ask for the down payment check back, they start thinking. I had to ask 2 times, after getting up before they relented.

I think you are going to like the HID upgrade too.

I drove mine tonight after not realizing I'm supposed to set the adjustment **** set to 0 for the furthest beam, not 5. I was very impressed

It was advertised with mp3 connection, so I'm guessing that it has the usb port.

Sounds like I;m going to have to read the owners' manual real good.
