i'm first generation american of english descent on the old man's side, with most of my family still over there. i just use a mix of english and american colloquialisms as those were what was spoken in our house growing up, and as cousins emigrated here spending too much time in bar-hopping conversation. as for 'age,' like i said previously, my tune-up expertise is pre-laptop requiring a tach-dwell meter and knowlege of the lean-drop for proper emissions....anyway, i have kids in their mid-20's, a couple of whom like to laugh at my refound interest in cars, and mitsu rice-burners at that, though they begrudgingly admit that mitsu's are good cars in view of my still going strong '93 which they continue to use....

 

i never care about age, its the experience i listen too

 

thanks for the kind words, but my experience, other than just swinging wrenches and ratchets, is like way out of date....i used to say to whipper-snappers 'what i forgot, you'll never learn....' now, what i forgot, is just as well forgotten as it's no longer necessary....i'm relegated not just to 'tuner wannabe,' but 'wannabe tuner wannabe....'
