I was quoted a price of $24,800 for a 4WD Outlander LS with the Sun and Sound package and Bluetooth. I think this is a great price for it, am I right? Or should I negotiate more off?

Thanks

Its a great price, I got my LS 4WD, with nothing else for 24,000. My dealer sucks! they wouldnt budge off the sticker, but hey always try and see how low can you go, But yes at this point and time its a good deal imo.

thats way too much, I got an xls for 21000 out the door.
jew em down (no racial slur intended)
car sales are way down, and mitsu is hurting badly enough they are considering closing us operations, bring those points up to your dealer, then tell him you'll give him 20k for the car, when he counters with 22, walk out. wait two to three days, and call him back, if he doesnt call you first.
then tell him youll compromise with 21k

WOW [sm=jawdrop.gif]sound, thats a really good deal!

I guess it has a lot to do with location, also when I purchased my outi there was not evenone 4WD model out of a line up of at least 12. The 4WD models seem'd to be selling a lot more, so the good dealswereon the 2WD models. They offered me an LS with sun and sound for 22,000, but no 4WD.... I really wanted A 4WD so I had to order mine and pay the sticker price. I wish I would have waited, I'm sure they have more of aline up right now and better deals.

Wow. Nice work.

My "Consumer Reports Ratings & Pricing Guide Winter 2007" has the 2007 4WD XLSwith a retail price of $25,010 and invoice at $23,577. Destination charge is $625. At $21K, you're still $3K below invoice + destination!

Either the Outlander can be had for that, or soundcolor hit the dealer at a time he needed to move avehicle to make his monthly/quarterly numbers.

All I did was work em for aboutfive days, told them I was going to get it, then "lied" on my credit app so it wouldnt go through.
went back the next day, with numbers from my own bank, and offered em 19k, of course they werent going to go for that.
went back the next day with my old man, told them 20, they said no, we walked out (also told them we would pay cash righ then)
they called later that day and told us 21k plus tt&l, I told them I would think about it. called them later, told them 21k out the door. They said no,
They called first thing the next morning, and asked me if I would do what I said the day before, I said I would think about it.
called em back bout noon, had my car by 1:30 with financing from mitsu at 4.9%

I got an amazing deal on my XLS...super-loaded. I'm not sure I would have taken anything else. They did try and push the lower models, but what's the point?

With the XLS for 21k did you get anything with it? 4x4, navi, leather, sun or sound, anything?

punknprncss,

www.kbb.com shows that vehicle as:

MSRP = $26,625.00
Dealer Invoice= $24,935.92.

So $24,800 is a bit under dealer cost. Sounds like a good deal to me.

I got the xls without the sun and sound, or navi.
I did get them to throw in 3yr 36k maintance. (oil and filter which i'll never use, tire balance and rotatioin, basically anything that falls into maintance they'll do)
I wanted the navi, but not the sun and sound. They just didnt have any.
