Default Problem with 2015 Outlander

Hello,

My 2015 Outlander Sport is acting weird and I’m hoping someone here might be able to help. About 3 weeks ago I was driving on the freeway at normal speed when it felt like my car slightly bucked under me. It almost felt like when you accidentally pop your clutch and you suddenly lurch forward slightly. It started to do it more often and stronger on my 1 1/2 hour long drive home. At the same time, I noticed my headlights would dim and my digital radio display would restart. There were no warning lights illuminated on the dash. When I got home, my husband hooked up his OBD II scanner and found nothing. The live data shows all systems seem to be running optimal. It continues to happen as an intermittent problem and does not consistently do it every time it is driven; however, it is still doing it. Each time it feels like the cat bucks slightly like a popped clutch and the radio restarts itself. Within the last week, I’ve also noticed that the air conditioning settings restart themselves now. It will have been set at max cold when I get out of the car, but when it is turned on again it is always set at 75 degrees. The transmission was recently replaced by Mitsubishi within the last 20K miles. Does anyone have any idea what this might be? Has anyone seen this issue before?

thank you,

Kristina

Was it ok BEFORE the tranny replacement ?

Maybe a bad electrical ground ?

s there any ground wire attached to the transmission ?
