Default Q- head rest adjustment

Can someone confirm this for me...

The headrest (all of them) can be raised up with little force WITHOUT pressing the "lock" button. In order to
lower the headrest, I have to press the "luck" button.

I thought you would need to press the "lock" button to either pull up or push down the headrest (like my previous cars)

Can you push up the headrest without pressing the "lock" button?? Would not this be a safety issue during, god forbid, a rollover??

p.s Manual seems to indicate that you raise the head rest by pulling straight up (without pressing any button).

thanks

you are good to go, in order to raise it, just pull it up to desire height. to lower it, you have to push the "lock button" then push down head rest.

should I get sometime this winter. Im planning to buy a set ( or maybe just a driver seat) and custom it for me. I figure I'll be the one driving it so might as well make MY seat extra special lol.

was planning to remove stock foam and replace it with some of that therapedic bed/pillow foam and viola, soft and comfortable seat even during traffic jams
