Default quater mile time

I havent raced my outlander or beat on it at all or even gone full throttle but,16.5 @ 85.8 mphseems really slow. Anyone go full throttle yet? Anyone get it up to 85mph full throttle?

yeah, I have really opened mine up. Pulls really strong. out of the hole, from zero to say 30, its a slouch. after that, and shifting yourself, I would say it would crack into the lower 16's. not sure where it will land. I know that when i ran mine on a straight stretch of highway 31w south of the kentucy line, it was pulling really hard above 60. when it got over 100, it slowed somewhat, but about what you'd expect. the fastest I have gone is 125. still had plenty and was still pulling amazingly well for this size truck.

I did notice that when shifting with the paddles, you have to anticipate the redline alot, like asking for a shift 2k rpms early so it will actually be shifting at redline.

Of course not thats not where I was trying to go with it. I was just trying to say high 16's seemed alittle high with how it felt. Im not expecting it to do the 1/4 faster than an evo but I thought by driving one it would be alittle faster than that. I have a 70 chevelle for putting down good 1/4 times

A worked 350, ceramic coated headers with dual straight backdyno flow exhaust, 700r4 tranny with shift kit, 3:73 richmond gears with clutches, theres a full list of parts that went into that car over the years. Its main purpose in life is a show car though.
