Default Question: 2009 silver shift panel

I have an 08 ES with the convenience package that has a black plastic shift panel. For 2009 they added a silver shift panel with chrome surround to the convenience package. My question is can the silver shift panel be purchased separately and installed in place of the black plastic one. If so what would be the price, and what would be involved in installing it yourself? This would be for the 2.4L CVT.

the only difference in the two parts is the PRNDL indicator. the cover doesn't include the indicator and would take modification to work. you may be able to use just the chrome insert though.

Thanks for all your input. I will wait to hear from jsrd on his experience with installing it. When I saw the silver panel in the 09 models it caught my eye and I think it really dressed up the interior.

I would love to get this too... but I'm waiting to also see if and how it would install correctly. What is the price on this too btw? I'm in the US.
