Question about audio head unit?

Good night!

will the bluetooth hand free be disable, if I change the audio head unit for my outlander 2007?

theBT module is separate, but plays thru the radio. the head unit has to be able to support the bt

bewst find out before buying.

Stock BT won't work without stock radio or navi unit.
