Default Question: vehicle capacity weight

I have an 08 ES 2WD 5 passenger with the 2.4L 4cyl engine. In the US manual they list the vehicle capacity weight(all passengers and cargo) at 827 pounds.

The 5 passenger 3.0L 6cyl engine shows acapacity weight of 935 pounds. The 7 passenger 3.0L capacity weight is 1,157 pounds. Is the extrapounds allowedon the 6cyl models because the 6cyl is a more powerful engine than the 4cyl and thus can carry the extra weight without overtaxing the powertrain, or is there a difference in suspension that allowsthe 6cylto carry the extra weight? Or is it both?

Thanks in advance for your answers.

that would probably be relevant to the frame, welding, and general design of the vehicle due to the 2 expra passenger capacity, you would need to increase your capacity to accomodate the realistic difference

I figure there must be some difference in frame, suspension, etc. A 2WD 4cyl outtie has a curb weight of 3395 pounds. A 2WD 6 cyl outtie weighs 3532 lbs. So the 6 cyl weighs 137 pounds more, but can carry 108 pounds more. That adds up to 245 pounds more you are carrying in the 6 cyl at full load. For the 7 passenger 6 cyl its a 467 pound difference
