The warranty was my big reason too.

 

Oil change 1300...darn that's quick. If oil breaks down that quick on a 2007 car were all in trouble.

 

I changed my oil at 1600 miles - not because it was broken down but from my experience and own driving habits. There is no law against maintaining you vehicle at accelerated intervals rather than what the manual recommends. In fact you should analyse your driving habits and conditionsbefore determining whether the recommended intervals are appropriate.
