Default Recall

Anybody else get a recall letter from the dealer this week?

I got one to check/fix the internal leakage of the tandem pump outstanding service campaign c0021310 the letter states its not a recall but tells you to get it fixed asap

is this part a diesel fuel pump?

I've not heard anything yet, mine also has the VW engine so i'd be interested to know what it is all about. Mine had it's first 12500 mile service between Christmas and New year so it may have had something done to it then but nothing was mentioned.
Keep us posted please as to what it all about.
Cheers

You asked a question about if anyone recieved a recall letter.... I answered. You asked if the "tandem pump" was part of the DIESEL fuel pump...... I answered

Since yes I know you have a diesel, and you recieved a letter on a recall for a tandem pump, which is on a diesel engine, then ya, I believe this recall if for the diesel models.

...easy pudd, not my fault your dealer doesnt know about your recall yet.

My UK 07 plate diesel has been in to the dealer and had the tandem fuel pump replaced, the ECU updated due to cold weather stallingissues and the front wheel bearings replaced, twice, due to "clunk" noise on recalls in the last couple of months.

Since the wheel bearings have been replaced, twice due to still having clunk noise after first set replaced, my Outie veers to the left which increases with speed. The dealer appears not to know why. Can anyone help with this?

With regard to car pulling to left possible causes could be....... incorrect tyre pressure.....;front brake binding ( jack wheel up and see if it spins freely)...; worn suspension joint or front wheels out of alignment after being removed for replacement of bearings..
Could be one of any of the above or even some thing else ! Just a case of trying various things and eliminating them I'm afraid !!

If your tyres are directional then check they have fitted your wheels back onto the correct side of the vehicle.
