Hi and welcome to forum. I live in Mexico and Mitsubishi doesn't offer as an option the MMCS, but I was able to install MMCS USA version because my Outie was prewired and I got the full functionality, except the maps, which are from USA, maps for Mexico aren't available, but it was a "small inconvenience". In your country Mitsubishi offers Outlanders with MMCS option? If so, then your Outlander may be prewired and ready to receive the MMCS.

For aftermarkets options, look here https://mitsubishiforum.com/forum/sh...ad.php?t=32475, but you lose OEM bluetooth ability.

hey thanx a lot!!!

no mitsubishi doesnt offer an mmcs for an outlander in my country,

may be aftermarket parts are fine, but still i need to change the center

console to replace them with an aftermarket not neccessarily chinesemade

,may be even an
  • GPS Navigation Receiver INA-W900
  • AVH-P6050DVD
but the problem would be is installing these wid the OEM center console,

may be if i can get the skeleton of the center console alone would be a

good choice, but can i get one of those.

0k, so you can try to obtain ONLY OEM audio panel from japanparts (http://www.japanparts.com/db/partsli...ey=403-034-001). They have two options, for MMCS version and other for aftermarket 2DIN size.

I hope this helps

Thanks from me as well, I was also looking to change my unit, it was easy enough to find the fascias on ebay, but they all seem to be plain black, do you know if these ones are chain mail affect like the 2010 interior.

I am leaning towards putting in a PIONEER AVH-3200DVD.

Are they much to changing these,or best left to the professionals.

Thanks

Peter

Hi PD_BARBS. The finish is identical to the dash panel in your Outander to be an original accessory, so do not worry about this. About install an aftermarket unit such as Pionner, I think it is best left to a professional because this installation isn't so friendly to do when is compared with the MMCS or Chinese models.

Saludos

Default More options

Scosche makes a double DIN aftermarket replacement headunit surround:

This wiring kit should make installation a snap.

Thanks jrsd, although they are alot more expensive atleast it will match.

tcp, i looked at these and these are plain black as opposed to the chain mail on the 2010 model, but it may be worth considering, thanks for the links.
