Replacing '07 Outlander rear bumper lens (red).

Does anyone know how you go about replacing the driver-side rear bumper red lens? Is there any way of getting it out without removing the bumper+cover?

Check Section 7-72 of your Outlander manual, "Rear side-marker lights".
Open the lower gate, pull back cover/flap, remove angled cover via 4 clips, remove light mounting screw and pull out assembly.
