I have a 2004 with very basic stereo, looking to upgrade, do I need to make sure I get a 2 DIN stereo?

it all depends ..

you could either get single din .. or double din..

how big is the stereo you have now? does it look twice the size as the single dins youll see at stores like best buy, etc?

1DIN is your basic car stereo of the 1990s, maybe in the 80's with TAPE (not the 8track). 2DIN is "double deck" of that size.

I'm not su sure with the 04s, do you have a 6CD changer?
