We bought ours for our kids (3 and 1 at the time) And a little for my wife. She is a little ......short. I also like the look of them but that is my opinion (my taste has been questioned in the past). I feel it makes the vehicle look more like something you could take off-road instead of a minivan. And yes I do realize that the running boards/steps make off-roading more difficult due to possible hang up situations.
