I’m thinking about putting roof bars on our MY21 Outlander which has roof rails to carry 50kg roof tent but both local Mitsubishi dealer & ARB have both cast doubts on integrity of roof rails in withstanding any sizeable dynamic load. Anyone have any experience with Outlander roof rail performance?

 

I have a 2018 outlander with fush rails. Installed the prorack HD roofbars alsong with the Kings roof toptent (~60kg). Drove 5000 kms with the roof top tent on including offroad with no issues.
