Exclamation is this a scam?

Am I the only one who is getting private messages allegedly from the forum adminstrator to say my PC is infected with a virus?. It requests me to log on to a site to have my PC scanned and cleaned. I have not done so as I believe it is a scam, I am unable to reply direct to the message. Please be warned.!!!!!!
