Service Reminder - Everything you ever needed to know

I did not even know you can view them using the information panel.
Its too bad, because on the Chrysler300 the display even shows you every single bit of information (actual RPMs, voltage, colant temp you name it), once you fumble a few buttons on and off.

i dont know if this is the right place to ask this question, and i didnt think it required a new thread so here goes... does the outlander come with a drive chain or drive belt? sorry for the newbie question.

thank you for the info. u woudnt happen to know when to change the belt would ya?? my car has 35 K miles on it now, i know i dont have to worry about it anytime soon but for information purposes.

Same time as the Spark Plugs, 105,000 Miles. It's an extra durable belt they claim.
This for both severe or normal maintenance schedule.
It's in the little Warranty and Maintenance Manual that came with the Outie

You can always try for an online manual. For the 2002 Mitsubshi Montero Sport, you can for the site maintenance and service by fixya, online service. Hope it gives the solution.

Must be doing something wrong. I have been able to add to the service timeline but not cancel the damn thing. it shows me me needing service in 9000 miles. When I get the button blinking, I no longer get Clear to appear. Clear only showed up once so far.
This feature along with the MPG that rests itself every day brings me back to the early 80s in computer programming. Is the Navi system this cumbersome and user unfriendly?

I selected JPN10 because it's the one that adjusts to the schedule maintenance of Mitsubishi Mexico. The previuos was NAS10.

Current schedule type says EU11 but for me that started from 15000 KM /12M not from 12000Km
Anyhow here (Romania) they claim you could run on either 20000KM/year (Mitsu' interval) or 15000KM/year (C-CROSSER/4007 interval). The reminder gets set via the CAN interface somehow, nobody operates the INFO button in the garage.
One extra question: I would like to cycle myself though all options on my car but not change the reminder - so how do you exit this mode without saving a new interval? Turn ignition on, maybe?
Many thanks!
