Service Reminder - Everything you ever needed to know

Tried this on my 2.2 PSA 2008 Outlander - seems to work the same.
Current schedule type says EU11 but for me that started from 15000 KM /12M not from 12000Km
Anyhow here (Romania) they claim you could run on either 20000KM/year (Mitsu' interval) or 15000KM/year (C-CROSSER/4007 interval). The reminder gets set via the CAN interface somehow, nobody operates the INFO button in the garage.
One extra question: I would like to cycle myself though all options on my car but not change the reminder - so how do you exit this mode without saving a new interval? Turn ignition on, maybe?

Ok I tried the "turn on" ideas from the first post in this thread and can't figure out how to on the service reminder. I recently bought my used outlander and all it has is the wrench icon and "off" next to it.
