For 2WD Max w/ brakes: 2000 lbs
for 4wd max w/ brakes 3500 lbs
if trailer has no brakes, max for both 2wd and 4wd is 1400lbs
Max roof load is 110 lbs

For XLS you will need to buy the accesory tow package, which is just the physical tow attachments to the frame, no further engine/radiator mods needed.

thank you zonthar for the link.
that pdf show a range of accessories that is wide but not as the u.s.a. one.
i suppose that it could be for swiss market, because the italian version is really poor.
as you can see, italy is europe (?): depends.

The car pricingis a regional thing, not a straight exchangerate matter. Frustrating, but not much you could do about it.

becuase they can. no other reason. just becuase they can. The cars are all built in the same places, using the same exact parts, by the same people. Mitsu charges more because in your area, thats what you will pay if you want it, and they know it.

Just to give you an example,in Canada, Honda CRV and Toyota RAV4 sell for 30-35% over the US price. The exchanage rate USD/CAD is about0.85 now.Honda makes the CRVs in the US and Canada, so no importduty, plus theworkers arenot part of UAW (union). But yes, Soundcolor is right, people buy them anyway, so why not?

not to mention that even on the MMA website, if you build and price an outlander, you cant even get the luxury package alone, they include the sun and sound package with it. And that brings the price here to around 3000us. So they may be doing the same thing there, or, they might just be trying to screw you, because they can.
Also, Mitsu Motors knows that they are likely to sell a whole lot more of them to the US market, and therefore, will charge more to other markets so they can make up the diffrence in what they would have made by selling it here.
If that makes any sense (think supply and demand, and dollar cost averaging)

Speaking of configuring the Outlander on the MMA site. What the hell is the difference between the $1800 Navigation package and the $2190 Accessory Navigation Package? Both have the exact same description.
