Default SRS Air Bag nonsense

Heat/Ac buttons started to fall in. So we removed the panel and found a loose screw , reconnected the cable and put the cover back on and now we are stuck with a service air bag light.
day 1. disconnected battery for 1 hr to see if it resets.
Day 2, tried an app on my phone with my micro mechanic odb device found an app but it shows no codes for airbag but still that light.
Day 3 talked with local mechanic who says if batter reset doesnt do it its hard coded and dealer is the way to go?
BTW i doublecheck all the yellow connectors below the seats, disconnected them and reconnect them.
Any other ideas? 129$ is alot of money
Thanks, BTW i love my Mirage, Wifey has the Outlander.
