Default Stereo quits working

I bought my 2016 Outlander sport a month ago. I have less than 4000 miles on it. About a week ago I was driving to a basketball game and had my phone playing music through the bluetooth. After about 2 hours of driving the system froze up. My phone was still working. I tried restarting my phone and the stereo, but nothing worked. I gave up and switched to satellite radio and that was also out. I only had access to fm/am radio.

After restoring my car, everything worked again. But on the way home, at 2 hours, everything quit working again. Last night I went on another 2+ hour drive and marked the time I started driving. EXACTLY 2 hours into the drive the system quit working again.

I just bought this car and am a little frustrated with the problem. Is there some setting I need to adjust that times out the stereo system? Or is there some sort of electrical problem going on?

I am getting ready to go on a 20 hour trip over New Years and am not looking forward to dealing with this problem the whole way.

Any suggestions would be appreciated!

With the car being that new, I'd take it back to the dealer and have them look at it. That's what the warranty is for.
