Default Tale gate led lamp

This is a OEM talegate led lamp for Outlander Sport and maybe for the latest Outlander as well (2014 N.A. 2013+ European).
Can anyone whose Outtie equipped with this lamp please provide more info., thanks a lot.

1) Does it has a switch for this lamp? if so, where is it (pictures are appreciated)

2) Detail of what car conditions the lamp is ON/OFF? i.e. power on, acc, lock (power off), when tale gate is open.
Does it follow the same condition as roof skyline reading lights settings?

I've bought a pair of Eagle Eyes, going to install on my tailgate.

Its on only when the tailgate is open, and cuts off automatically when closed. The light is not very bright to be honest.
