FWIW, you can buy it on eBay for $200 and pay the dealer $50-$100 to enable it...its very easy to install and takes about 30 mins.
Ok I gotcha now. It's kind of confusing because you would assume that if your car had a feature, then you would be able to use it without having to purchase anything else! At least that's what I thought. Do you know the exact name / brand of what you bought to install the blue tooth? Do you find that the blue tooth is easy to use?

Good to hear that it won't cost too much to install or take too much time. I'm excited to purchase and install it! . .Is there a specific one to purchase?

The Bluetooth module attached in the pic from ebay site (part number 8785A003) has a fault; my Outie had it and the problem was solved until the dealer replaced it by a newer module (part number 8785A009). Look at this link for more details about the problem in post 4, 7, 11

Does the bluetooth model found on ebay allow you to also play music via the bluetooth? or is it strictly for connecting your phone functionality?

I have a feeling that the actual module is capable of it, but only cars with the FUSE system support it.

The part number is exactly the same for 2010 cars with FUSE, MZ313819. Therefore, the actual module does support it. However, the non-FUSE headunit does not.
