Top speed for Outlander GT?
While my Speedometer goes to 150. I doubt it could do it(Maybe the engine and tranny could in another car).
Anyone know what it's top speed is? Just wondering as I'll never experience it.

Outlanders have an Aluminum roof, and are car based. They're designed to have a lower center of gravity than a conventional SUV. But realistically, rollovers are almost non existent with modern designs and traction control systems, even if you do something really stupid, it takes an astounding level of stupid to flip one nowdays.
There's a lot of SUVs nowdays that are far better sports cars than most "sports cars". It's just a matter of the design of them. An X5M will flat out embarrass a Corvette, as would an ML63, Cayenne Turbo, GC SRT8, etc.
Most cars have speedometers that go well in excess of what they're capable of. I suppose half of it is in case someone removes the top speed limiter and puts more power into it. But more likely than not it's a marketing thing, where by having a higher speedometer people will assume it's faster. Look for the new Daewoo SOnic RS to have a 290mph speedometer so that Chevy can sell those pieces of crap here (exaggeration).
