I found a thread in the sticky section for outlanders, someone uploaded a manual for a 2011. I found torque settings in there.
My question is can i assume these torque settings are for all bolts and nuts of the correct size? So for example, if i find that my bolt is an m10 on my injector, this correlates with the torque settings found in the below manual?
ensure threads on bolts and holes in head are clean and dry. VERY IMPORTANT
fit injectors and fit holders over the top. fit bolts on either side of injector and tighten evenly by hand turning socket. you should use a straight edge resting across all the injector holders to ensure they are all level.
tighten all bolts to 1nm( which is just above finger tight)
Then on the first injector, tighten one bolt by 90 degrees, then the other bolt by 180 degrees. Move to the next injector, and repeat until all are done the same.
These engine suffer with cracking cylinder heads when they are overtightened or the threads are full of oil or water (causing a hydraulic lock in the hole).

I have tied down most of what you say here from previous research, understanding how important it is for threads to be clean and dry etc.
I have also found the torque settings for my engine...
12 + 1 nm
Are these settings different to what you mention one bolt at 90 degrees the other at 180?
