Ah you're right - 2.0L 4cyl - CVT
They don't specify towing capacity in the specs, so I'm guessing its not recommended. Towing with a CVT is generally not recommended from what I understand.
For reference, I had a 2012 Subaru Impreza (2.0L - CVT) and the tow capacity (for outside the US) was 1350 lbs.
I towed a small aluminum boat (500 lbs) with it and no issues, but I took it slow when climbing hills and didn't push the car very hard. I also braked a lot sooner with the extra load to preserve my brake life.
For this application, you could get away with LIGHT towing, but don't overdo it.
