Hi all,
Last week I bought a 2012 gx3 2.2 diesel outlander.
When driving it I can hear the turbo as I put my foot down, then a hiss as I put my foot on the clutch.

I've had the AA look at it , thinking it was a split pipe, but he's confirmed its the turbo.
he also showed me there was oil at the back of the engine above the turbo.

is this something to worry about?
are turbos on these models usually noisy?

Mines 3 months // 3k miles old. It has always made a bit of noise when cold, from new. Never had any hissing noise though. I shall monitor it, but I do have nearly 5 years warranty left.
