Default Twin Clutch

Apart from the super secret redesign of the front.. looks like they're adding this to the Outlander too...

Man this sucks.. I just got my new fully loaded XLS two weeks ago... I might have waited if I had known.. mostly depending on if the redesign of the front actually looked good with the unchanged front-doors-to-rear.

This front doesn't look like new, it just is not North American or US version. Correct me if I'm mistaken.

It's definite that it's a change.. but how drastic, no one knows yet. Most people think it's a safe bet that it will be similar to this vehicle (following the EVO X front):

Correct, the first reply's photo is just the "Mount Fuji" type front... That is the european/aussie version. The U.S. and Japan version for 2007 and 2008 are similar as it only has the Mitsu Diamonds on a grill.

The new 2009 version will have a completely different front.. much like what they did with the 2003-2004 switch to the 2005-2006 Outlander. (My wife has the 2003 XLS)

Well, this is not even new. The twin clutch has been announced way back in March 08. See here: http://paxtech.blogspot.com/2008/03/...th-sst-uk.html.

But don't hold your breath for it, It won't make it in the US until 2010 at the earliest.

The odd thing about these pictures as that they were taken in the US, the second thing is that it looks like the new front end parts were just put on an existing car. I imagine that it is possible that MMC has some design work done in the US but I find that unlikely. Makes me wonder if it's an after market kit.
